The Mount Vernon Summer Front Porch Concert Series, held annually in the charming town of Mount Vernon, is a delightful musical street fair that captures the essence of summer. From June to August, locals and tourist alike gather along East Hight St. around picturesque front porches of historic homes, to share warm, lazy summer evenings.
KVAA Concerts at The Woodward: Blues Night
KVAA Concerts at The Woodward, is a series of local and regional concerts presented by KVAA at the historic Woodward Opera House showcasing premium talent from around the Kokosing Valley, central Ohio and across the regional Midwest.
This event features a night of Blues from Cryin’ Out Loud and Frank Boyd Jr.

Arts Alliance Workshop
KVAA’s Arts Alliance Workshops are accessible community events that are designed to offer relevant, inspiring information and practical approaches towards creating individual art. Workshops are led by guest artists immersed in their field of study who lead conversation and questions through their shared experience and process.

Songwriters’ Roundtable is a performance of live, original music by the composers themselves in the intimate setting of the Woodward Opera House’s Black Box Theater. Hear songwriters from throughout Ohio, the regional Midwest, and beyond, share the stories of inspiration and experience behind their art, and the songs it created, in a quiet, up close, listening environment.

A new community art competition and exhibition presented by Kokosing Valley Arts Alliance in partnership with
Knox County Convention & Visitors Bureau and
our wonderful community art galleries,
Coleman Gallery, Pine Row Studios, Kudos Artists Co-op, Kenyon Annex - Gund Gallery, The Gallery on Gambier.
This summer event will showcase local creativity at the historic CA&C Visitor Center in Mount Vernon and celebrate the many talented artists who make our community so unique.
Artists of all ages and experience levels have been selected in the following categories:

• 3-D
• Multimedia
Selected artwork will be displayed during the public exhibition from July 10 through August 16, where visitors will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite pieces in the Community Choice Award.
